ASSIGNED NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Board of County Commissioners of Spokane County, Washington (“Board”) that a public hearing will be held in person on: TUESDAY, MAY 5, 2026 AT 2:00 P.M. (or as soon as possible thereafter) COMMISSIONERS' HEARING ROOM SPOKANE COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS BUILDING 1026 W. PURPOSE OF PUBLIC HEARING The purpose of the public hearing will be for the Board to consider public testimony and take action on the County Engineer's report on the Vacation proceedings which were initiated by Eric Sletten. Such road to be Vacated being more particularly described as follows: That portion of Lakeview Boulevard that lies south of the southern right of way line of Pearl Avenue, and north of the northern right of way line of Elm Avenue as per the plat of Clearview Second Addition as recorded on September 8, 1909 In Book M, Page 30, Recording No. 3100520 located in the northwest quarter of Section 31, Township 24, Range 41 E.W.M., Spokane County, Washington. ***** Any person may appear at the date, time and place set forth above and present testimony in favor of or in opposition to vacation of said PORTION OF LAKEVIEW BOULEVARD. To create the opportunity for everyone attending the public hearing to speak, testimony may be limited to three (3) minutes per speaker. The Board reserves the right to adjust the time frame allotted to speakers as well as hearing procedures during the public hearing. Any written comments on the purpose of the public hearing must be received by April 30, 2026, no later than 12:00 NOON by gvasquez@spokanecounty.gov.
