Notice of Public Hearings for the Yakima County HOME Consortium Regarding Affordable Housing and the 2026 Annual Action Plan Notice is hereby given that pursuant to resolution 96-2026 the Board of Yakima County Commissioners will consider affordable housing needs throughout Yakima County and the Yakima County HOME Consortium's 2026 Annual Action Plan, which will identify priorities, establish goals, and allocate resources for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds. The goals of the HOME program are to create and preserve affordable housing. Public Hearings will be held on May 12, 2026, at 10:00 am or as soon thereafter, and on May 26, 2026, at 10:00 am or as soon thereafter in the Yakima County Courthouse Basement, Room 33B, Conference Room 2, 128 North 2nd Street, Yakima, Washington, 98901, and virtually by Zoom. Participants may join the meeting via the link on the Board of Yakima County Commissioners website. The County will provide reasonable accommodation for those with a disability or for those who require translation services.
