NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT PUBLIC RULE AND OPPORTUNITY TO COMMENT King County Metro (KCM) proposes to amend Pricing, Enforcement, and Requirements for Renewal of HOV and SOV Parking Permits under authority granted by King County Code (K.C.C.) section 2.16.038 and chapter 2.98. The purpose of this proposed rule is to implement the provisions of K.C.C. 4A.700.650 and 28.96.010 regarding paid parking restrictions on Metro Transit property. Any interested person may submit written comments concerning the proposed rule, which is an update to the previously adopted rule with the document title FES-7-2-1-PR, that addressed parking and parking enforcement and was effective October 12, 2019. Comments must be received by KCM no later than 5:00 p.m. pacific time on Monday, March 30, 2026.
