NOTICE OF DETERMINATION OF NON‑SIGNIFICANCE The Bellevue School District has issued a Determination of Non‑Significance (DNS) under the Washington State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) Rules (Chapter 197‑11 WAC) for the following project: Project: International School Replacement Project Location: 445 128th Avenue SE, Bellevue, Washington Applicant: Bellevue School District The proposed project consists of the construction of a new approximately 140,000 square‑foot school building to replace the existing Bellevue School District International School on the current campus. The project includes site redevelopment to provide updated utilities, parking, sidewalks, and site access to serve the new facility. Improvements to the existing tracks and fields and lower playfields will occur within the current site footprint. All existing school and field buildings on the site will be demolished. The project will be constructed in accordance with applicable regulations and will incorporate Best Management Practices (BMPs) to control site disturbance, erosion, sedimentation, and stormwater during construction. After reviewing the completed environmental checklist and other information on file, the Bellevue School District has determined that the proposed project will not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. Copies of the Determination of Non‑Significance and the Environmental Checklist are available for review at the Bellevue School District, Capital Projects Department, located at 12037 NE 5th Street, Bellevue, Washington, or by request. The public is invited to comment on the Determination of Non‑Significance.
