Public hearing on ZIPLY FIBER franchise agreement in Cowlitz County.

NOTICENOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 10th day of March, 2026, at the hour of 9:30 o'clock a.m., a public hearing will be held before the Board of County Commissioners of Cowlitz County, Washington, in the Chambers of the Board in the County Administration Building, third floor, 207 Fourth Avenue North, Kelso, Washington, for the purpose of determining whether or not to approve a ten(10) year franchise between ZIPLY FIBER, and Cowlitz County, Washington. The franchise would allow ZIPLY FIBER, a non-exclusive franchise to use certain roads, streets, avenues, highways, alleys, rights-ofway and other county properties for the construction, operation, and maintenance of telecommunication facilities over, in, along, across, and under County public rights-of-way within the boundaries of unincorporated Cowlitz County Washington, for the purpose of underground telecommunications. Complete copies of the proposed franchise agreement are available at the office of the Board of County Commissioners, Third Floor, County Administration Building, 207 Fourth Avenue North, Kelso, WA, 98626, or the Department of Public Works, 1600 – 13th Avenue South, Kelso, WA, 98626.
