FIRE HYDRANT FLOW TESTING MAY 19, 2026 UNTIL COMPLETED EVERY: TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, & THURSDAY The Dadeville Fire Department will conduct fire hydrant flow testing beginning Tuesday, May 19, 2026 and will continue until completion. This fire hydrant flow testing maintenance is done to ensure that the fire hydrants are working properly. This required testing also benefits the fire department's fire protection rating. While this testing is in progress, motorist should be aware of the firefighter(s) working in close proximity of the streets and roads. For the safety of the firefighters and motorist, motorists are urged to slow down and proceed with caution as extreme water in the roadway from this flow testing could cause vehicles to hydroplane. During hydrant flows in your areas, the water may become discolored due to sediment in the pipes being agitated from the larger-than-normal amount of water that will be flowing through the system.
