NOTICE OF 
PUBLIC HEARING 
Notice is hereby given, as follows:  The Walker County Commission will conduct a public hearing on a proposal to vacate the spur -- Dogwood Circle -- off of Harbor Loop, abutting the boundaries of property owned by William Black, and situated within the unincorporated limits of Walker County, District 1. The hearing will be held on June 15, 2026, at the Regular Meeting of the County Commission of Walker County, Alabama, which meeting shall begin at 9:30 a.m., and which shall be held in the Commission Meeting Room located on the main floor of Walker County Courthouse Annex #1, 1801 3rd Avenue South, Jasper, Alabama, 35501.   Any citizen shall have the opportunity at or before such hearing to object to the proposed vacation described hereinabove. Said objection may be provided in writing to the Walker County Commission, 1801 3rd Avenue South Suite 113, Jasper, Alabama, 35501, at any time prior to the hearing, or said objection may be voiced directly to the County Commission of Walker County, Alabama, at the hearing. Persons with questions may contact the Walker County Commission Office, at the address above or by telephone at (205) 384-7230.
