ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDSPROJECT:Recreation Center Road ImprovementsSheridan, ARProject No.:BCS25-001Bids: June 1, 2026Description:City of Sheridan, Arkansas will accept lump sum bids for furnishing all tools, labor, materials, and equipmentrequired to Construct Recreation Center Road Improvements including demolition and removal concreteretaining wall/slabs, demolition and removal of chain link fence & gates, coordination of removal of powerline facilities and installation of new 3 phase powerline facilities, locating and re-routing water line, locatingand re-routing sewer lines, installation of new pump station and sewer service main, construction of approx-imately 315 LF of new Roadway Improvements, construction of approximately 8,000 SqFt new asphalt park-ing lot, widening approximately 2,040 LF existing asphalt roadway, construction of approximately 22,500SqFt compacted gravel parking area, drainage improvements, new chain link fence & gates, and other relatedappurtenances; with MUTCD Traffic Control and Signage; and the contractor shall provide all other clearingand erosion control, trench and excavation safety system, final seeding and fertilization of disturbed areasupon completing the construction, miscellaneous materials and appurtenances, etc. for a complete project inaccordance with the plans and specifications.Bids will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. Local Time on June 1, 2026 at Sheridan City Hall, Sheridan, Arkansas.Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud immediatelyafter the specified closing time.Bidding Documents may be examined at Sheridan City Hall, 106 W. Bell Street, Sheridan, AR 72150.Copies of the Bidding documents MUST be obtained at Sheridan City Hall in accordance with the Instruc-tions to Bidders upon paying the sum of $75.00 for each set of documents. Documents acquired at locationsother than Sheridan City Hall will not be accepted. Return of documents is not required, and amount paid fordocuments is not refundable.
