Bids are invited for classroom upgrades in Hacienda La Puente Unified School District.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS / INVITATION TO BID Notice is hereby given that the governing board of the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District ("District") will receive bids for: Bid 202526.11 Measure BB Bond: Bid Bundle #9: Valley Alternative High School & Orange Grove Middle School. To be eligible to bid on this Project or be listed as an eligible firsttier subcontractor performing under the license classification(s): A, B, C4, C7, C10, C16, C20, C34, C36, C38, C42, C43, and/or C46, Contractors must currently be on the District's Prequalification Contractor List for Measure BB Bond Projects. Bidders must submit sealed bids on or before 3:00 p.m., May 21, 2026, at the District Office, located at 15959 E. Gale Ave., City of Industry, California 91745. At this time the District will open the bids & publicly read them aloud. Any claim of error must be made in compliance with Public Contract Code � 5100, et seq. The District is not responsible for bids received after the deadline noted above or bids misdelivered, by any method, even to a different District address. The Project consists of: Classroom upgrades. All bids shall be on the form provided by the District & must conform and be responsive to all pertinent Contract Documents. Bidders are required to possess an active B California Contractor License at the time of the bid opening & throughout the term of the Contract. Bidders shall provide a bid bond or other acceptable security in the amount of 10% of their total bid price. The awarded Contractor(s) is required to furnish a 100% Performance & Payment Bond. The Project is subject to the general prevailing rate of per diem wages & the general prevailing rate for holiday & overtime work as determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations, for the type of work performed and the locality in which the work is to be performed within the boundaries of the District, pursuant to Labor Code � 1770 et seq. A mandatory jobwalk will be held on May 13, 2026, starting at 1:30 p.m. Orange Grove Middle School: 14505 Orange Grove Ave., Hacienda Heights, CA 91745 then moving to Valley Alternative School: 15430 Shadybend Dr., Hacienda Heights, CA 91745. The District reserves the right to reject any & all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. No Bidder may withdraw its bid for ninety (90) days after the date of the bid opening. The District shall award the Contract to the combination of Base Bid(s) and/or Bid Options that equates to the lowest total project cost to the District.
