MA No. 6536 INVITATION TO BID Bids for the Portable Toilet Services 2026 2029 General Service Agreement (MA) No. 6536 will be received at the Office of the Environmental Planner, Marin Municipal Water District ("MMWD" or "District"), 220 Nellen Avenue, Corte Madera, CA 94925, until 4:30 p.m., on April 16, 2026. This contract is for providing rental and services of portable toilets as provided in the scope and bid sheet at various locations throughout Marin Water's Watershed lands. The work to be done is located near the intersection of Bolinas-Fairfax Road and Sky Oaks Road, in the Mount Tamalpais Watershed within the County of Marin, California. Bidders shall comply with all applicable labor and employment laws, including but not limited to Labor Code section 1720 et seq. On this contract, eight hours shall constitute a legal day's work. Work beyond eight hours shall be paid at a rate not less than one and one-half times the prevailing rates. Wage rates for Sundays and holidays shall be paid at a rate not less than two times the prevailing rates. The holidays upon which such rates shall be paid shall be all holidays recognized in the collective bargaining agreement applicable to the particular craft, classification or type of workers employed on the project. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure that any bid submitted shall have sufficient time to be received before the Submittal Deadline. Late bids will be returned to the Bidder unopened. Bids will not be opened publicly. Bids will be considered for the complete job only. In accordance with the Instructions to Bidders, all bid documents must be completed on forms supplied with the bid specifications. BEFORE BIDDING: Bidders should contact their insurance brokers to verify that their insurance meets all insurance requirements of the contract and that their broker will provide a completed MMWD Additional Insured Endorsement. Bidders should provide pages XIV, XIV-a and XIV-b of the contract to their insurance brokers for reference. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the attention of the Environmental Planner, with the words "PORTABLE TOILET SERVICES FOR WATERSHED FACILITIES 2026 2029 GSA No. 6536" clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. OBTAINING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: Copies of the Contract document may be previewed & purchased by logging on to http://www.marinwaterplans.com/ or by calling BPX Printing at 510-559-8299. These items may be obtained at a set price of $25.00, plus shipping, and is non-refundable. All bidders must purchase a complete bid set from the BPX Printing prior to bid opening in order to be considered responsive and to receive addenda notifications and provide a receipt with bid documents.
