Bids invited for storm pump station repairs in Corte Madera by April 9, 2026.

NOTICE INVITING BIDSTOWN OF CORTE MADERAMARIN COUNTYSTATE OF CALIFORNIA
STORM PUMP STATION SHORT-TERM REPAIRS – PHASE I PROJECTPROJECT NO. 25-303SEALED BIDS will be received at the office of the Town Clerk, located at 300 Tamalpais Drive, Corte Madera, California 94925, until the hour of 11:00 a.m. on Thursday April 9, 2026 at which time they will be publicly opened and read, for performing the following work as indicated in the construction plans:
This project consists of repairing and upgrading existing storm drain pump station facilities to improve operational reliability during storm events. Major elements include removal and replacement of aging level sensors, electrical panels, controllers, wiring, conduits, and associated electrical components within existing pump station sites; installation of new control hardware and related appurtenances; replacement of the automatic transfer switch at the San Clemente Pump Station; testing and commissioning of upgraded systems; and related work including protection of existing facilities, coordination of temporary power or bypass operations as needed, and final site restoration and cleanup, and other related work.
The Engineer’s estimate for this project is approximately $760,000. The Contractor shall possess a valid Class “A" or “C10” License at the time contract is awarded. Any trench work requires a Class A or C-12 license. A non-mandatory pre-bid site walk is scheduled for Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 1:30p. The meeting will start at the San Clemente Pump Station, located on Madera Del Presidio Drive, and will continue as a group to the other pump station locations.
Plans, Specifications, and Bid Forms may be obtained at the Town of Corte Madera Website (link below) and must be downloaded a minimum of 72 hours prior to bid, for no charge. Marin County Standard Specifications may be obtained at the County of Marin Public Works Department. All prospective Bidders shall also check the project webpage within 48 hours prior to bid for any bid addenda. Any bid addenda will be posted at least 72 hours prior to bid. All interested contractors and those desired to be notified of any bid addenda, please submit request to Public Works at pwcounter@cortemadera.gov to be added to the project’s prospective bidder list.
