NOTICE INVITING BIDSTOWN OF CORTE MADERA OF MARIN COUNTYSTATE OF CALIFORNIA MADERA GARDENS COMPLETE STREETSPROJECT NO. 24-003SEALED BIDS will be received at the office of the Town Clerk, located at 300 Tamalpais Drive, Corte Madera, California 94925, until the hour of 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read, for performing the following work as indicated in the construction plans: The project consists of roadway resurfacing and targeted pedestrian and bicycle improvements in the Madera Gardens neighborhood. Work includes demolition, traffic and pedestrian control, clearing and grubbing, asphalt grinding, hot mix asphalt (HMA) resurfacing, asphalt digouts, micro-surfacing, ADA-compliant curb ramps, sidewalk, driveway, curb and gutter, tree removal, a traffic circle, concrete bulbouts, painted bulbouts, new storm drain structures, rectangular rapid flashing beacons (RRFB), new signage and pavement markings, and other related work. The Engineer’s estimate for this project is approximately $2,950,000. The Contractor shall possess a valid Class “A" License at the time contract is awarded. No pre-bid meeting is scheduled for this project. Plans, Specifications, and Bid Forms may be obtained at the Town of Corte Madera Website (link below) and must be downloaded a minimum of 72 hours prior to bid, for no charge. Marin County Standard Specifications may be obtained at the County of Marin Public Works Department. All prospective Bidders shall also check the project webpage within 48 hours prior to bid for any bid addenda. Any bid addenda will be posted at least 72 hours prior to bid.
