NOTICE INVITING BIDS Reed Union School District Granada School Site Beta & Epsilon Building Re-Roofing Project Notice is hereby given that the Reed Union School District ("District") will receive sealed bids for the Granada School Site Beta & Epsilon Building Re-Roofing Project. Sealed bids shall be received at the Reed Union School District Maintenance and Operations Office, 50 El Camino Drive, Corte Madera, California 94925, until 2:00 p.m. on April 2, 2026, at which time or shortly thereafter all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Project consists generally of the removal and replacement of roofing systems at designated buildings at Granada School, including related flashing, decking repairs, and associated work as set forth in the Contract Documents. A mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit will be held on March 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., beginning at Granada School, 50 El Camino Drive, Corte Madera, California 94925. Any bidder failing to attend the mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit shall be deemed non-responsive. Contract Documents will be available beginning March 11, 2026, and may be obtained from the District's Maintenance and Operations Office at the address listed above. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid price. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond and a one hundred percent (100%) Payment Bond. This Project is a public works project subject to prevailing wage requirements pursuant to California Labor Code section 1720 et seq. All bidders must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations ("DIR") pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. Award, if made, will be to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder in accordance with Public Contract Code section 20111.
