ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Notice Inviting Bids: Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the City Clerk of the City of Fort Bragg ("City"), 416 North Franklin Street, Fort Bragg, California 95437 on or before 2:00 PM, on May 28, 2026 for the following public work: CITY OF FORT BRAGG RAW WATER LINE REPLACEMENT PROJECT CITY PROJECT WTR-00016 Bids will be opened and read publicly at 2:00 PM, on May 28, 2026 at 416 N. Franklin St. Fort Bragg, CA 95437 in the City Hall Conference room. Virtual participation is welcome by using the following Zoom video conference: Join Zoom Meeting: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/86505926921 Meeting ID: 865 0592 6921 Project Description: The Project includes the construction of approximately 1 mile of untreated gravity flow water pipeline between the City's Water Treatment Plant on Monsen Way and Forest Road 450 in Jackson State Demonstration Forest. The project is divided into four segments (Segments 2 5) as described in the full bid documents and includes construction of a new pump station and force main at Newman Reservoir. The pipeline traverses both rural residential and steep, rugged, and undeveloped terrain environments. Procurement of Bidding Documents: Bidding Documents contain the full description of the Work. Bidders may examine a complete hard-copy set of the Bidding Documents at the Fort Bragg City Hall, located at 416 North Franklin Street, Fort Bragg, California 95437. The Notice Inviting Bids section of this advertisement specifies the date, time, and place submittals must be made. Pre-Bid Meeting and Site Visit: The City will conduct a Pre-Bid Meeting and Site Visit at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 15, 2026, at the City Hall Conference Room, 416 N. Franklin St. Fort Bragg, CA 95437. The PreBid Meeting will last approximately one (1) hour. Bidders who choose to participate in the site visit should plan for a total duration of up to four (4) hours. Required Contractor's License(s): A California Class A contractor's license is required to bid this contract. Joint ventures must secure a joint venture license prior to award of this Contract. Specialty work may require a specialty class contractor's license held by Bidder or a listed subcontractor. Required Contractor and Subcontractor Registration: City shall accept Bids only from Bidders that (along with all Subcontractors listed in Subcontractors List) are currently registered with the Department of Industrial Relations ("DIR") and qualified to perform public work pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5. Prevailing Wage Laws: The successful Bidder must comply with all prevailing wage laws applicable to the Project, and related requirements contained in the Contract Documents.
