NOTICE INVITING BID PROPOSALSDistrict: SOUTH ORANGE COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICTProject: Bid No. 14408-2026; Printing and Mailing for Saddleback College MagazineNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the South Orange County Community College District (“District”) acting by and through its Governing Board, will receive up to, but not later than, the above-stated time, electronically submitted Bid Proposals for the award of the contract for the above Project.1. Submittal of Electronic Bid Proposals . Bid Proposals must be electronically submitted at https://www.planetbids.com/portal/portal.cfm?CompanyID=39861 no later than May 19, 2026 at 2:00PM . Bid Proposals submitted thereafter will be rejected for non-responsiveness. The District is not responsible for or liable to Bidders for: (i) inaccessibility of the PlanetBids portal; or (ii) untimely, incomplete or inaccurate data submitted through the PlanetBids portal.2. Submittal of Paper Samples . Samples of all paper types identified in the Bid Documents shall be delivered via a mail service with tracking or delivered in-person no later than May 19, 2026 at 2:00 PM to the South Orange County Community College District Office, Attn: Purchasing Dept, Re: Bid 14408-2026 at 28000 Marguerite Parkway, Mission Viejo, CA 92692.3. Additional Information Regarding Bid . Additional information regarding the requested supplies and equipment, including Specifications and/or other requirements are available at https://www.planetbids.com/portal/portal.cfm?CompanyID=39861 .4. Pre-Bid Inquiries . Bidders must submit Pre-Bid inquiries or clarification requests through the PlanetBids portal no later than May 6, 2026 at 5:00 PM . District will not respond to any Bidder inquiries or clarification requests submitted after such date/time. Bidders are solely responsible for accessing the PlanetBids portal to review District responses to Bidder inquiries or clarification requests.5. Substitution of Specific Products . Bidders may request the District accept alternatives to materials, equipment or other products specified in the Contract Documents by brand, trade name, model number or other similar designation (“Specified Products”) by submittal of a written request to the District (“Substitution Request”) through the PlanetBids portal no later than May 6, 2026 at 5:00 PM .6. Optional Pre-Bid Meeting . There will be an optional pre-bid meeting conducted via Zoom on May 8, 2026 at 10:00 AM . All RFQ&P respondents shall confirm their attendance by email to: purchasing-dept@socccd.edu by May 6, 2026 at 5:00 PM. A call-in number will be provided prior to the meeting day to those who confirm attendance.7. Bid Award. The Contract, if awarded, will be by action of the District’s Board of Trustees to the responsible Bidder submitting the lowest priced responsive Base Bid Proposal.8. Bid Proposals Binding on Bidders . Submitted Bid Proposals may be withdrawn via the PlanetBids Portal prior to the latest date/time for submitting Bid Proposals. Bid Proposals shall remain firm, binding and enforceable for sixty (60) days after the opening of Bid Proposals.9. Rejection of Bid Proposals; Waiver of Minor Irregularities. The District expressly reserves the right to reject all Bid Proposals.
