City of Ontario Engineering Department 303 East B Street, Ontario CA 91764 NOTICE INVITING BIDS 2026 FALL PAVEMENT REHABILITATION PROJECT Contract Time: 80 working days; Liquidated Damages: $6,700 per calendar day. The project is for the construction of the 2026 Fall Pavement Rehabilitation Project. Prevailing wages are required. Copies of the prevailing rate of per diem wages are on file at the City's principal office, which shall be made available to any interested party on request. This Project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. A 10% Bid Guarantee is required with bid. Successful contractor will be required to provide: (1) 100% Performance bond; (2) 100% Payment bond; (3) Class A licensed contractor; (4) Liability Insurance with City of Ontario as additional insured with endorsement; (5) Proof of Workers' Compensation Insurance coverage. Plans and specifications are available to download from PlanetBids. Bids will only be accepted via online electronic bid service PlanetBids until 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2026. Questions?
