DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS MILL VALLEY, CALIFORNIA NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS OF BIDS Project No. PW 264 MILLER AVENUE STORM DRAIN IMPROVEMENTS Sealed Proposals for the Miller Avenue Storm Drain Improvements project shall be received by the City of Mill Valley Department of Public Works at 26 Corte Madera Avenue, Mill Valley, California 94941, until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026. Proposals will be collected by City staff at 2:00 and will be opened and read publicly. Work shall be done in accordance with official plans and specifications, which are available at no cost to the Contractor on the City's website http:// www.cityofmillvalley.gov/772/BidsRFPs. Project Description: As outlined in the schedule of bid items, the work generally consists of mobilization, traffic control, demolition and removal of seven existing arched culverts within the roadway, installation of new galvanized, corrugated arched culvert storm drains, and patch hot mix asphalt pavement, cleanup of the project area, and other items of work as shown on the plans. The project is located along Miller Avenue between Reed Street/Valley Circle and Camino Alto in the City of Mill Valley. The Engineers Estimate for this project is $322,000 for the Base Bid. A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the Total Bid amount payable to the City of Mill Valley shall accompany the Proposal. Award of contract, if awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder whose proposal complies with the prescribed requirements, and will be within thirty (30) days after receipt of proposals. The City of Mill Valley reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and the right to waive any irregularities.
