LEGAL NOTICE CITY OF CUPERTINO SECOND READING ORDINANCE NO. 26-2280 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at its regular meeting of Tuesday, May 5, 2026, the Cupertino City Council conducted the second reading of Ordinance No. 26-2280: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO AMENDING CITY CODE TO AMEND SECTIONS 9.17.100, 9.17.110, 9.17.130, AND 9.17.140 TO REGULATE SINGLE-USE CARRYOUT BAGS." Ayes: Moore, Chao, Fruen, Mohan, and Wang. Noes: None. Abstain: None. Absent: None. This ordinance was enacted and will go into effect thirty (30) days from that date. Complete copies may be requested by contacting the City Clerk's office by email at cityclerk@cupertino.org or by telephone at 408-777-3223. If you wish to challenge the City Council's action in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written or electronic correspondence delivered to the City of Cupertino City Hall at, or prior to, the meeting.
