CITY OF SAUSALITO NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING ORDINANCE NO. 052026 AN ORDINANCE OF THE SAUSALITO CITY COUNCIL AMENDING SAUSALITO MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 8.02.070 TO ADOPT ENERGY REACH CODE REQUIREMENTS FOR SINGLE FAMILY REMODELS, AMENDING SAUSALITO MUNICIPAL CODE 8.02.120 TO ADOPT CALGREEN TIER 1 VOLUNTARY MEASURES, AND ENACTING SAUSALITO MUNICIPAL CODE CHAPTER 8.04 (LOW CARBON CONCRETE STANDARDS). NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Sausalito City Council unanimously adopted Ordinance No. 052026 at the Regular City Council Meeting held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 5:00 p.m, in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 420 Litho Street, Sausalito on the following proposed action: Introduce and Waive first reading of Ordinance No 052026, and ordinance of Sausalito City Council Amending Sausalito Municipal Code Section 8.02.070 to Adopt Energy Reach Code Requirements for Single Family Business Remodels, Amending Sausalito Municipal Code Section 8.02.120 to Adopt CALGreen Tier 1 Voluntary Measures, and Enacting Sausalito Municipal Code Chapter 8.04 (Low Carbon Concrete Standards). The ordinance, in accordance with State law, establishes updated local building standards to support energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
