PUBLIC NOTICE TIMBER HARVEST PLAN Timber Harvest Plan (THP) Request for information on Domestic Water Supplies per 14CCR 1032.10. Mendocino Redwood Company, LLC is preparing a THP for private forestland property within the Mallo Pass Creek and Upper Elk Creek Planning Watersheds, Mendocino County. Many unnamed tributaries flow through the plan area into Mallo Pass Creek and Mills Creek which is tributary to the Pacific Ocean. Mallo Pass Creek and Mills Creek are both adjacent to the plan area. Portions of the plan area does drain into Elk Creek, but Elk Creek is not adjacent to the THP. Elk Creek is a tributary creek that flows directly into the Pacific Ocean. The legal description of the plan area is portions of Section 27,28,29,32,33, and 34 T14N R16W, MDBM, and portions of Section 3, and 4 T13N R16W, MDBM. The plan area is located approximately 1.25 air miles Southeast of Bridgeport Landing as shown on Mallo Pass Creek and Cold Springs USGS 7.5' Quadrangles.
