CITY OF AMERICAN CANYON PLANNING COMMISSION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING (2026-07) On Thursday, May 28, 2026 at the hour of 6:30 p.m., at 4381 Broadway, Suite 201 (in the Council Chambers of the American Canyon City Hall), a public hearing will be held by the Planning Commission of the City of American Canyon to consider the following: APPLICATION: American Canyon Active Transportation Plan PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Consider a Resolution to recommend that the City Council adopt a General Plan Circulation Element Amendment to repeal Appendix 4-1 Bicycle Master Plan and Appendix 4-2 Pedestrian Master Plan and replace them with a new Appendix 4-1 Active Transportation Plan. ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: The proposed action is statutorily exempt from the CEQA pursuant to Public Resources Code PRC �21080.20, as it is an active transportation plan that promotes and encourages people to choose walking, bicycling, or rolling through the creation of safe, comfortable, connected, and accessible walking, bicycling, or rolling networks, and encourages alternatives to single-occupancy vehicle trips. Copies of all documents that relate to the above-described project may be examined at the Community Development Department office prior to the hearing. The meeting will be conducted in person and by teleconference via a Zoom connection where the Planning Commission and staff will participate with both audio and video presence.
