NOTICE O F PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Utility Board of the City of Azusa will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the Azusa Light & Water First Floor Conference Room, 729 N Azusa Ave, Azusa, CA 91702 , for the following agenda item(s):• Adoption of the 2025 Urban Water Management Plan• Adoption of the 2025 Water Shortage Contingency PlanAzusa Light & Water (ALW) hereby releases its Draft 2025 Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP) and Draft 2025 Water Shortage Contingency Plan (WSCP) for public review. The UWMP and WSCP will be available through May 26, 2026, at the following locations:• Azusa Light & Water Office (729 North Azusa Avenue, Azusa, CA 91702)• Azusa City Clerk's Office (213 East Foothill Boulevard, Azusa, CA 91702)•Online: https://www.azusaca.gov/2324/2025-Urban-Water-Management-PlanThe Utility Board meeting scheduled for Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. will be open to the public . All those interested are invited to appear at the time and place of the Public Hearing to give oral or written comments. Members of the public may also submit written comment by emailing PublicComment@azusaca.gov by 4:00 PM on the day of the meeting. Emailed public comment shall be limited to 250 words, will be provided to the Utility Board prior to the start of the meeting, and will be made part of the record; however, emailed comments will not be read aloud during the meeting. Any member of the public requiring a reasonable accommodation to participate in this meeting in light of this announcement shall contact the City Clerk's Office prior to 2:30 p.m. at 626-812-5200 or PublicComment@azusaca.gov .
