The Planning Commission’s public hearing will be held at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 550 East Sixth Street, Beaumont, California.PP2024-0052 (PLOT PLAN AMENDMENT) To consider an amendment to Plot Plan 04-PP-18 to construct a stand-alone 457,444 square-foot warehouse building north of Prosperity Way within the Rolling Hills Ranch Specific Plan (RHRSP) (APN:424-050-016).

PLAN2026-0085 (SUSTAINABILITY PLAN) A Planning Commission workshop to review the City of Beaumont Sustainability Plan, an update to the 2015 Climate Action Plan and to consider a resolution recommending that the City Council adopt the updated plan. This update introduces new actions that strengthen the environmental dimension of sustainability and functions as a short‑range, implementation‑focused plan designed for a 5‑ to 10‑year horizon. Environmental Determination: An Addendum to the Beaumont General Plan 2040 Final Programmatic Environmental Impact Report (SCH 2018031022) pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act §15162 and §15164 will be considered.This meeting will be conducted in person and will also be recorded for live streaming. All City of Beaumont public meetings will be made available via live streaming and made available on the City’s official YouTube webpage. Public comments can be made in person, using the public comment phone line or by written email. Phone-in comments will be accepted by calling the designated public comment phone line (951) 922-4845 prior to the corresponding item. Public comments shall not exceed three (3) minutes unless otherwise authorized by the Planning Commission. Written comments can be emailed to NicoleW@BeaumontCa.gov with “Public Comment” in the subject line. Public comments accepted via email will be read aloud during the corresponding item of the meeting, subject to the three (3) minute time limit. Comments can be submitted at any time prior to the meeting, as well as during the meeting, until the end of the corresponding item.
If you challenge the action taken on this matter in court, the challenge may be limited to raising only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence to Steven Jones, Community Development Department or the City Clerk, at, or prior to, the public hearing.
