COUNTY OF KINGSNOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT , the Kings County Board of Supervisors will conduct a PublicHearing to discuss General Plan Amendment No. 26-02 of the Kings County General Plan for Adoption of the 6 th Cycle Housing Element. PUBLIC HEARING DATE:May 19, 2026TIME:10:00 A.M.PLACE:Board of Supervisors Chambers – Administration Building #1, 1400 W. Lacey Blvd, Hanford, CA 93230 During the hearing, any member of the public may be heard on matters regarding the proposed General Plan Amendment No. 26-02 of the Kings County General Plan for adoption of the 6 th Cycle Housing Element. If you challenge the above item in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or written correspondence delivered to the Board of Supervisors, at or prior to, the public hearing. The approval of General Plan Amendment No. 26-02 for adoption of the 6 th Cycle Housing Element is exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3) of the Guidelines for the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA Guidelines), and none of the circumstances in Section 15300.2 apply . Members of the public who wish to observe the meeting virtually can do so via the worldwide web at www.countyofkingsca.gov and click on the “Join Meeting” link. If you wish to participate and provide comment during the meeting, you can send an email to BOSQuestions@co.kings.ca.us on the day of the meeting to receive an automatic reply message with the Teams meeting phone number, login and password information.If you are unable to participate virtually, you may also submit written comments by U.S. Mail or email for inclusion in the meeting record. Written comments must be received by the Clerk to the Board of Supervisors no later than 8:00 a.m. on the morning of the noticed hearing.
