NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 20, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. , or as soon thereafter as the case may be heard, the Planning Commission of the City of Irwindale will conduct a public hearing in the City of Irwindale Council Chambers, located at 5050 Irwindale Avenue, Irwindale, California , to consider the following:
PROPOSED modification no. 03-2024 to conditional use permit no. 95-4 TO APPROVE A FIVE (5) year TIME eXTENSION to allow the CONTINUEd RECLAMATION AND BACKFILLING OPERATIONS for property located at 128 live oak avenue (apns: 8532-005-003, 8532-005-004, 8532-005-007) in the M-2 Heavy INDUSTRIAL ZONE applicant – nick bubalo, s.l.s. & n., inc

Pursuant to the authority and criteria contained in the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) of 1970, as amended, and the City of Irwindale environmental guidelines, the City, as the Lead Agency, has analyzed the project, and has determined that the proposed continuation of operations was fully analyzed in the Environmental Impact Report for the Peck Road Gravel Pit and Inert Landfill (SCH No. 199804131), City’s General Plan and, pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Sections 15183 and 15162, and is consistent with the previously certified EIR, therefore no subsequent EIR, Negative Declaration, or addendum is required for approval of the continued operation.If you wish to challenge Modification No. 03-2024 to CUP No. 95-4 and/or the environmental determination in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Community Development Department – Planning Division at, or prior to, the public hearing.
