NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND DOCUMENT AVAILABILITY On Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 4 p.m., The Long Beach Community Investment Company will conduct a public hearing at Long Beach City Hall, 411 W. Ocean Blvd., 2nd Floor Carmelitos Conference Room, Long Beach, CA 90802. The purpose of the public hearing is to allow for public input on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2026-2027 Action Plan (Plan), which addresses the current Consolidated Plan priorities. The City of Long Beach annually receives money from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development to help improve our neighborhoods. The entitlement funds come from three funding sources: Community Development Block Grant, Emergency Solutions Grant, and the Home Investment Partnerships Program. The public hearing will also allow for public input on Substantial Amendments to the following prior year Action Plans: FY 2019-2020 Action Plan, 2020-2021 Action Plan, 2021-2022 Action Plan, 2022-2023 Action Plan and 2025-2026 Action Plan. Beginning May 5, 2026, draft copies of the FY 2026-2027 Action Plan will be available for public review and comment. The draft Plan can be downloaded from the “Stay Informed: Latest News” section of the Long Beach Community Development Department website homepage at longbeach.gov/lbcd, in-person at 411 W. Ocean Blvd., Long Beach, CA 90802 or via email at HUDGrants@longbeach.gov or by phone at (562) 570-6912. The City of Long Beach intends to provide reasonable accommodation for the public hearing in accordance with the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) of 1990. If special accommodation is required, or to request translated materials, please call Elizabeth Weithers at (562) 570-6912 at least 48 hours prior to the June 10, 2026, public hearing.
