NOTICE OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE THE CITY OF MARINA CITY COUNCIL
1. That City Council open a public hearing and adopt City Council Resolution 2026‑ approving a Tree Removal Permit for the removal of 44 trees and approval of a Design Review Permit in support of a new car dealership on the property located at 2101 First Avenue (Opportunity Area 3.2 of the Dunes Development). Find that any environmental impacts from the recommended action have been previously reviewed in the environmental impact report for the University Village Specific Plan EIR (EIR NO. 2004091167). 2. That the City Council shall extend Urgency Ordinance 2026‑03 for 26 days or until June 17, 2026, temporarily prohibiting the establishment and operation of new short term rentals pursuant to Government Code Section 65858(a) and find these actions are exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per Section 15061(b) (3) of the CEQA Guidelines.
