NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS ON THE 2025 URBAN WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN AND WATER SHORTAGE CONTINGENCY PLAN FOR THE SAN JOSE MUNICIPAL WATER SYSTEM NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, the City Council of the City of San Jos‚, California will hold public hearings in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 200 East Santa Clara Street, San Jos‚, California on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, on the 2025 Urban Water Management Plan and Water Shortage Contingency Plan for the San Jos‚ Municipal Water System's North San Jos‚, Alviso, Evergreen, Edenvale and Coyote Valley service areas, filed with the City Clerk, pursuant to Sections 10608-10656 of the California Water Code. The plans include an analysis of drinking water supply and demand for the next twenty years, including a supply reliability analysis and identified actions to address water shortages. The hearings will provide an opportunity for residents to provide input on these plans. Draft plans can be viewed at www.sjmuniwater.com or may be provided upon request by calling (408) 277-3671. The City Council meeting may be attended in-person and viewed streaming through SanJoseCA.gov/CivicCenterTV.
