Public hearing on housing and general plan progress reports scheduled for March 16, 2026.

CITY OF SAN PABLO NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING MONDAY, MARCH 16, 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of San Pablo, State of California, will hold a public hearing in the Council Chambers of the City of San Pablo, 1000 Gateway Avenue, San Pablo, CA 94806, on Monday, March 16, 2026 at 6:00 p.m., to consider the following items: PLAN2602-0011: Consideration of a Resolution authorizing the submittal of the City of San Pablo Housing Element Annual Progress Report for Calendar Year 2025 to the California Department of Housing and Community Development and the Governor's Office of Planning and Research as required by Government Code Section 65400. This Code Section establishes a requirement that all cities and counties submit a Housing Element Annual Progress Report on the status and progress in implementing the jurisdiction's Housing Element, to their legislative bodies, the Governor's Office of Planning and Research, and the California Department of Housing and Community Development. The report includes progress made in meeting the City's share of regional housing needs. PLAN2602-0010: Consideration of a Resolution authorizing the submittal of the City of San Pablo General Plan Annual Progress Report for Calendar Year 2025 to the California Department of Housing and Community Development and the Governor's Office of Land Use and Climate Innovation as required by Government Code Section 65400. This Code Section establishes a requirement that all cities and counties submit an annual report on the status of the General Plan and progress on its implementation to their legislative bodies, the Governor's Office of Planning and Research, and the California Department of Housing and Community Development. Members of the public are invited to attend said hearings and express opinions regarding these items.
