Pursuant to the provisions of California Revenue and Taxation Code, Section 1601, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the 2026-27 Assessment Roll shall be delivered to the Marin County Department of Finance on or before July 1, 2026, and will be available for inspection in the Department of Finance at the Marin County Civic Center on or about that date. An Assessment Appeals Application can be filed with the Clerk of the Assessment Appeals Board, c/o Board of Supervisors, 3501 Civic Center Drive, Room 329, San Rafael, California 94903, beginning July 2, 2026, but no later than November 30, 2026, 5:00 p.m., on the form provided by the Clerk of the Assessment Appeals Board. An application that is sent by U.S. mail, properly addressed with postage prepaid and postmarked no earlier than July 2, 2026, and no later than November 30, 2026, shall be deemed to have been timely filed. Applicants will be given 45 days' notice prior to their hearing dates. The Assessment Appeals Board shall meet to Equalize assessments on the local roll commencing the third Monday in July, and continue to meet for that purpose from time to time until the business of the equalization is disposed of.
