CITY OF SAN RAFAEL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL You are invited to attend the City Council hearing to consider adoption of a resolution recommending Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project funding for the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 to the Marin County Board of Supervisors. DATE/TIME: Monday, May 4, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. LOCATION: City Council Chambers, City Hall, 1400 Fifth Avenue, San Rafael, CA 94901 PURPOSE: The San Rafael City Council will consider adopting a resolution recommending Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project funding for the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 to the Marin County Board of Supervisors. Specifically, the City Council will consider what affordable housing, community infrastructure, and public services to recommend funding and the amount of funding for the respective projects. WHAT WILL HAPPEN: Staff will provide a presentation, the City will hold a public hearing wherein members of the public can provide comments/questions, and the City Council will consider all public testimony, deliberate, and determine how to proceed with the recommendation provided by staff.
