The CSA 12, and CSA 12A charges will be increased by 4% over the FY 2025-26 rates. The CSA 12N charges are not being increased for FY 2026-27. County Service Area No. 12, Septic System Maintenance Charge per parcel served by septic system: $36.98 County Service Area No. 12, Zone A, San Lorenzo Wastewater Management Additional charge per parcel served by septic system, in the San Lorenzo Watershed: $25.68 County Service Area No. 12, Zone N, Inspection of Nonstandard Sewage Disposal Systems Additional charge per parcel served by an enhanced treatment, alternative, haul away or nonconforming system, as designated by the Health Officer pursuant to Chapter 7.38 of the County Code, depending on whether the system is subject to a service agreement with a certified Onsite System Service Provider (OSSP), and where payment of such annual charge is required as a condition of obtaining a sewage disposal permit: - Managed Alternative Systems (with OSSP) (Level 6) $ 171.34 - Alternative Systems (No OSSP) (Level 3) $ 1,360.48 - Nonconforming Systems (Level 4) $ 339.61 The assessment/service charge reports shall be available for inspection by May 26, 2026, at 701 Ocean Street, Room 520, Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, Santa Cruz, California. At the time, date and place stated above, the Board of Supervisors shall hear and consider all objections or protests, if any, to the proposed benefit assessment/service charge rates and to the proposed assessment/service charge reports.
