City of Solana BeachNotice of Setting the Fire Benefit FeeNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Solana Beach, California, will meet to determine and set the charges and providing the collection thereof, for fiscal year 2026/27 Fire Benefit Fees:FEE2026/27Fire Benefit Fee$10.00 The Fire Benefit fee would be assigned to properties according to the schedule outlined below.ACTUAL LAND USE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF UNITS OF BENEFITUnimproved2 units per 1 acre and/or portion of 1 acre, up to 20 units per parcelResidential5 units per dwelling unitCommercial15 units per 1 acre and/or portion of 1 acreIndustrial20 units per 1 acre and/or portion of 1 acreTimeshares1 unit per timeshare week (1/5 of residential) The City Council will adopt the Fire Benefit Fee for the FY 2026/27 on the consent agenda on June 10, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the Solana Beach City Council Chambers at 635 South Highway 101, Solana Beach, CA. THIS FEE IS AT THE SAME RATE AS IT HAS BEEN SINCE ITS INCEPTION AND IS NOT BEING RAISED. Data supporting the proposed fees is on file at City Hall, 635 South Highway 101, Solana Beach CA or call (858) 720-2400. “Important notice to all interested persons: If you challenge in court the action or actions in this notice, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public meeting described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered to the City Clerk at, or prior to, the public meeting.” If you wish to protest this fee, or if any additional information is required, you may do so by following the instructions on the Agenda regarding how to provide oral comments and asking that this agenda item be removed from the consent agenda for discussion. You can also submit public comments by sending your protests to the City Clerk Dept clerkoffice@cityofsolanabeach.ca.gov.
