OFFICIAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGCITY OF TUSTIN
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Tustin, California, will conduct a public hearing on May 26, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chamber, 300 Centennial Way, Tustin, California.
The City Council will consider the following item:
Project Title:Code Amendment (CA) 2026-0001Applicant:City of TustinProject Location:Citywide
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This project is a City-initiated request to amend Chapter 2 of Article 9 (Land Use) of the Tustin City Code, related to the development of Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) and Junior Accessory Dwelling Units (JADUs), in compliance with state law.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW:
This project is statutorily exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA"; Cal. Pub. Resources Code Section 21000 et seq.) pursuant to Public Resources Code Section 21080.17, as the proposed amendments implement the provisions of California Government Code Section 66314 and 66333 (Assembly Bill 3057).
