CITY OF UKIAH Notice of Public Hearing for a Minor Subdivision at 1009 West Perkins Street / 1008 West Church Street; APN 001-213-04 File No. PA26-000012 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 20, 2026, an application was received requesting that the City Engineer review a Minor Subdivision of an existing �0.51-acre parcel (1009 West Perkins Street / 1008 West Church Street; APN 001-213-04) into three (3) parcels. Parcel 1 would be �11,640 square feet, Parcel 2 would be �5,670 square feet, and Parcel 3 would be �5,497 square feet in size. PROJECT IMPACTS: The proposed project is exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to �15315, Class 15, Minor Land Divisions. This categorical exemption allows for the division of property in urbanized areas zoned for residential use into four or fewer parcels when in conformance with the General Plan and local zoning. PUBLIC HEARING DATE/TIME: City Engineer, May 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., or soon thereafter. LOCATION: This meeting will take place both in-person at the Civic Center, located at 300 Seminary Ave., Conference Room 3, and via teleconference. Teleconference attendance details will be included on the agenda posted to the City website, www.CityofUkiah.com/meetings/ and at the Civic Center Agenda Board no less than 72 hours prior to the meeting. WHAT WILL HAPPEN: All interested parties may comment on the project. The City Engineer will consider all public testimony and either approve, conditionally approve, or deny the project. IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND: Written comments may be submitted via email or mail to the Planner listed below, or in person prior to the hearing at the Community Development Department, located at 300 Seminary Avenue, Ukiah, CA 95482. Office hours: 8:00 am to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. If you challenge the project in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Community Development Department or the City Engineer at, or prior to, the public hearing. All persons are invited to appear and present testimony to the City Engineer in this matter.
