NOTICE OF PROPOSED DECISIONThe Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety proposes to approve Technical Revision Application No. 139 (TR-139) 2025 Annual Reclamation Report for the Trapper Mine (Permit No. C-1981-010), submitted by Trapper Mining, Inc. The Trapper Mine is a surface coal mine located in Moffat County, approximately 6 miles SW of Craig, Colorado. Coal interest is federal, state and private, and the surface affected is state and private land. The permit area encompasses approximately 11,293.79 acres. This proposed decision is based on a finding of whether the proposed operation will comply with all requirements of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act, Section 3433101, et seq., C.R.S., and the regulations promulgated thereunder.
