LEGAL NOTICE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING WATER DISTRICT INCLUSIONS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park will conduct a public hearing to consider two Ordinances consenting to the inclusion of certain properties located within the Town limits into the legal boundaries of the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District (the "District") and the Municipal Subdistrict (the "Subdistrict") pursuant to C.R.S. � 37-45-136(3.6). HEARING DATE AND LOCATION: Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 7:00 PM Location: Town Hall Board Room, 170 MacGregor Ave, Estes Park, CO TOPIC OF HEARING: The Town is finalizing a corrective action to ensure that all properties receiving Western Slope water from the federal Colorado-Big Thompson (C-BT) and municipal Windy Gap Projects are formally included within the Districts' legal boundaries, as required by federal and state regulations. PROPERTIES AFFECTED: The properties proposed for inclusion are identified by legal description and parcel number in Exhibit A (District) and Exhibit B (Subdistrict) of the proposed Ordinances. These lists are available for public inspection at the Town Clerk's Office or public records portal or the Utilities Department at 1180 Woodstock Dr during normal business hours. FINANCIAL IMPACT: Properties included in this action will become subject to the District's 1 mill property tax. RIGHT TO OBJECT AND ASSENT: In accordance with C.R.S. � 37-45-136(2), any person interested in any of the lands identified may appear at the public hearing or file a written statement with the Town Clerk to show cause why their property should not be included. PLEASE BE ADVISED that the failure of any person to file a written objection at or before the public hearing shall be legally deemed as an assent to the inclusion of their property and the associated taxing authority of the Districts.
