Jacksonville International Airport (JAX)
JAX JAA Hourly Garage Demolition
The overall scope of this project involves the selective demolition of a portion of the existing hourly parking garage at Jacksonville International Airport. Work includes the barricading and restriction of designated areas of the garage at Levels 2, 3, and 4 to facilitate demolition of the fire-damaged sections, as documented. The life safety analysis confirms that adequate means of egress and paths of travel are maintained throughout the demolition activities, despite the temporary closure of the two southernmost stairwells and the affected portion of the garage.
There will be a Pre-Bid Conference held in the JAA Training Room of the Administrative Offices, 14201 Pecan Park Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32218, at 2:00PM on May 26, 2026.
A site visit is scheduled immediately following the pre-bid meeting.
Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid will be required to accompany bids. Contract Bonding shall also be required. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in bidding. The Authority has determined that the SBE participation goals for this project is Two Percent (2%). As a good corporate citizen JAA fully supports the usage of SBE/DBE on JAA projects. We encourage our business partners to maximize the utilization of SBE/DBEs at every opportunity.
This project will be bid as a single contract. Bid prices may be held for up to 90 days. All bids must be submitted in accordance with Project Manual for Contract No. C-899 which may be examined in the Jacksonville Aviation Authority Administration Building Office, or obtained from:
