LEGAL NOTICE
City of Mascotte, FL (Owner) invites sealed Bids for Midway Avenue Elevated Storage Tank DW #351250 for a new 900,000 gallon elevated storage tank and includes civil, mechanical, process, structural, instrumentation and electrical Work, earthwork, paving, surface restoration, erosion control, appurtenances. Substantial Completion: within 240 days. Final Completion:  within 300 day. Bidding is per Section 255.20 Florida Statutes pending funding under the Florida State Revolving Fund (SRF) loan program.
Request electronic Bidding Documents (no cost): April 16, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. by email to MunicipalBids@woodardcurran.com and subject line Mascotte FL - Midway Avenue Elevated Storage Tank to obtain the Bidding Documents and other related public information.  Official Bidding Documents will be available once registered. Documents from third parties are not considered official Bidding Documents. 
Virtual non-mandatory pre Bid conference: 11:00 a.m. local time on April 22, 2026.  Access instructions will be emailed. 
Receipt of Bids: 11:00 a.m. local time on May 20, 2026.  Submit to:  Owner at 100 East Myers Boulevard, Mascotte, FL 34753, Attention:  Larry Walker, Public Services Director with Bid security at 5% of total Bid. 
Applicable requirements include and compliance with following is required as a minimum:  Florida Administrative Code Chapter 62-552 (Revolving Loan Program); the Davis Bacon Act; the American Iron and Steel requirements of H.R. 3547 Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2014; United States-Produced Iron and Steel in Public Works Projects provisions; Prohibition on Certain Telecom and Video Surveillance Services or Equipment provisions; and the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act.
NOTE: BABA requirements have been waived for this Project.
Good faith efforts shall be taken to assure that MBEs and WBEs are utilized, when possible, as sources of goods and services if Bidders or prospective contractors (including the Contractor) intend to let any lower-tier goods or services (including construction) subcontracts for any portion of the Work.
