BIDDING OPPORTUNITY BID #: B-2-26-38 BID TITLE: Demolition of Former Motel in Micco Sealed (Bids/Proposals) will be received at the office of Brevard County Central Services/Purchasing, 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, C-303, Viera, FL 32940 until 10 AM local time on May 20, 2026 to complete the project known as Demolition of Former Motel in Micco. Contract documents, bid sheets, plans and specifications can be obtained on VendorLink . A mandatory pre-bid walk-through will be held on April 28, 2026 at 3:30 PM at 8820 US Highway 1, Micco, FL 32976 . Interested Contractors are required to attend this walk-through to qualify to bid on project. All contractors attending will meet in front. Brief Scope of Work: The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and transportation necessary for the demolition and complete removal of the former motel, two-story duplex building (former efficiencies), and all accessory structures, located at 8820 US Highway 1, Micco, FL. Such demolition shall include all foundations, footings, walls, and roofs, as well as the septic tanks, drain fields, and grease traps. The base area of the former motel and the two-story duplex building is 4,759 square feet. The maximum height of the structures is approximately 30 feet. The existing pavement on the east side of the motel shall remain in place and be protected during the project. The Contractor shall be responsible for verifying all existing site conditions. Any discrepancies between the Contract Documents and actual field conditions shall be promptly reported to the County. The Contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, regulations, permitting, and Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA).
