NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING


A PUBLIC HEARING will be held on the following proposed Ordinance at 6:00 p.m. or soon thereafter on February 17, 2026 in the Commission Chambers at the Administration Building, 201 W. Central Avenue, Lake Wales, at which time the City Commission will consider its adoption into law. The ordinance in its entirety may be inspected at the office of the City Clerk during regular working hours. All interested parties may appear and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10, FIRE PREVENTION, LAKE WALES CODE OF ORDINANCES, TO ADOPT STANDARDS OF SEC. 10-1 MINIMUM FIRE SAFETY STANDARDS; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.



The City Commission may continue the public hearings to other dates and times, as they deem necessary. Any interested party shall be advised that the dates and places of any continuation of these public hearings shall be announced during the hearing and that no further notices regarding these matters will be published.
