AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAKE WALES, POLK COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 23, ZONING, LAND USE AND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS AS IT PERTAINS TO SECTION 23-243. EXEMPTION FROM PAYMENT OF REVIEW FEES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABLITIY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. All interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed amendments. If any person decides to appeal any decision made by the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at such hearing, he will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose he may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. The City Commission may continue the public hearing to other dates and times, as they deem necessary. Any interested party shall be advised that the dates, times, and places of any continuation of these or continued public hearings shall be announced during the hearing and that no further notices regarding these matters will be published.
