NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Planning & Zoning Board Meeting City of Lake Wales Municipal Building, 201 W. Central Avenue, February 24, 2026 at 5:30 P.M. Notice is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Lake Wales will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 5:30 P.M. or shortly thereafter at the Municipal Administration Building, 201 W. Central Avenue, Lake Wales, Florida, in the Commission Chambers, to consider the following requests: 1) Discussion of Land Development Regulations (Chapter 23, Lake Wales Code of Ordinances) that are in need of possible amendments in order to address the growth and needs of the community 2) Easy Access - Request for Approval of a Special Exception Use Permit to allow Auto Sales & Repairs Parcel ID: 273002908000001170 DR ML KING JR BLVD STUART AVE Lake Wales 25.31.25 001170 0011001190 001 001050 001110 All interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed amendments. If any person decides to appeal any decision made by the Planning and Zoning Board with respect to any matter considered at such hearing, he will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose he may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. The files for these hearings may be inspected at the Growth Management Department during regular business hours. Please call (863) 676-5112 to make arrangements to view the files. The Planning and Zoning Board may continue the public hearing to other dates and times, as they deem necessary. Any interested party shall be advised that the dates, times, and places of any continuation of these or continued public hearings shall be announced during the hearing and that no further notices regarding these matters will be published.
