NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the County Council of Volusia County, Florida, will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, commencing at 9:00 a.m. in the Frank T. Bruno, Jr. County Council Chambers of the Thomas C. Kelly Administration Center, 123 West Indiana Avenue, Room 204, DeLand, Florida.
The proposed resolution is entitled:
RESOLUTION 2026 - XX
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPROVING PUD-24-009 AND AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN HEREIN DESCRIBED PROPERTY FROM THE ST. JOHNS RIVER RV STORAGE BUSINESS PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (BPUD) AND PRIME AGRICULTURE (A-1) ZONING CLASSIFICATION TO THE AMENDED AND RESTATED ST JOHNS RIVER RV STORAGE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT WITH BUSINESS SUBCLASSIFICATION (PUD) ZONING CLASSIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Woods, Esq., Cobb Cole, Attorneys at Law, agent for Ronald Hagen, U.S. Storage Depot, LLC, owner, requesting a Major Amendment to the St. Johns River RV Storage BPUD. The property is located at 2775 West New York Avenue, DeLand; Parcel Number: 7914-00-00-0151; +/- 23.75 acres. The application(s) may be inspected by the public at the GROWTH AND RESOURCE MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT, 2nd FLOOR, THOMAS C. KELLY ADMINISTRATION CENTER, 123 WEST INDIANA AVENUE, DELAND, FLORIDA. This hearing may be continued to one or more dates. The dates, times, and places of any continuation of the above scheduled public hearing will be announced at said public hearing and no further notice regarding said continuation is required to be published. In accordance with the requirements of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 ("ADA"), the County of Volusia (County) will not discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities on the basis of disability in its services, programs, or activities. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity of the County, should contact the office of the Countys ADA Title II Coordinator, James Corbett, at (386) 248-1760 as soon as possible but no later than two business days before the scheduled event or meeting. This paragraph shall likewise apply to written requests by a physically handicapped person needing a special accommodation to attend a public meeting in accordance with section 286.26, Florida Statutes.
