Notice Notice is hereby given that the Southwest Florida Water Management District has received an application for a modification of water use permit application number 20-002871 from Tamiami Citrus LLC, 999 Vanderbilt Beach Rd., Suite 507, Naples, Florida, 34108, to withdraw water from wells and/or surface waters Application received: 2/13/2026. Predominant use type(s): agricultural. Quantity 1,016,700 annual average gpd, peak month 7,925,500 gpd, and crop protection 48,052,200 gpd. Location: Section 1 Township 34 East, Range 27 South; Sections 25 and 36 Township 33 East, Range 27 South, in Hardee County. The application is available for public inspection Monday through Friday at 7601 U.S. Highway 301 North, Tampa, Florida 33637 or through the “Application & Permit Search Tools” function on the District’s website at www.watermatters.org/permits/. Interested persons may inspect a copy of the application and submit written objections and comments concerning the application within 14 days from the date of this notice.
