Public hearing for telecommunications tower variance in Citrus County.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO CONSIDER AN APPLICATION FOR VARIANCE OF LAND
The Citrus County Planning and Development Commission (PDC) will conduct a Public Hearing on April 2, 2026, at 9:00 AM in the Lecanto Government Building, 3600 W. Sovereign Path, Room 166, Lecanto, Florida. 
Please note that the PDC meeting begins at 9:00 AM. The actual time that a particular item is discussed will vary depending on how fast the PDC moves through the agenda. Interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed application.

This request is for a variance from the Citrus County Land Development Code (LDC) to allow for a telecommunications tower with reduced separation requirements from off-site uses in the Heavy Industrial District, pursuant to Section 2414, 
Heavy Industrial District (IND)
, and Section 3750,
 Commercial Wireless Telecommunications Towers, Structures, and Antennas,
 as specified in the Land Development Code (LDC).
Property is located in: Section 34, Township 16 South, Range 18 East,
 specifically, Parcel 2 of LR-02-22, Alt Key 3131106, whose address is 2723 W. Dunnellon Rd., Dunnellon, FL. A complete legal description is on file with the Land Development Division.
If any person decides to appeal any decision made by the Commission with respect to any matter considered at this hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
