Public hearing on ordinance regarding the dissolution of Davis Reserve Community Development District.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE OR CHANGE REGULATIONS AFFECTING THE USE OF LAND
The Board of County Commissioners of Citrus County, Florida, will hold a public hearing on May 12, 2026, at 1:15 p.m., or as soon thereafter as can be heard, in the Board of County Commissioners Meeting Room at 110 Apopka Avenue, Room 100, Inverness, Florida 34450, to consider the adoption of an ordinance bearing the following title: 
AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISIONERS OF CITRUS COUNTY, FLORIDA, A POLITICAL SUBDIVISION OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA, ACCEPTING THE PETITION OF DAVIS RESERVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT; DISSOLVING THE DAVIS RESERVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT; REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 2025-01; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION AND SCRIVENERS ERRORS; PROVIDING FOR MODIFICATIONS THAT MAY ARISE FROM CONSIDERATION AT PUBLIC HEARING; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing and be heard by the Board on matters pertaining to this ordinance. Pursuant to Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, a person deciding to appeal any decision made by the Board with respect to any matter considered at the meeting of the Board at which the public hearing is held or at any subsequent meeting to which the Board has continued its deliberations is advised that such person will need a record of all proceedings and may need to ensure that a verbatim record of all proceedings is made, which must include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. A copy of the proposed ordinance may be inspected by members of the public at the Department of Growth Management, 3600 W. Sovereign Path, Lecanto, Florida 34461, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, with the exception of legal holidays.
