NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING
ORDINANCE NO. ORD2026-02
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DUNNELLON, FLORIDA, DELETING CHAPTER 66, ARTICLE II OF THE CITYS CODE OF ORDINANCES IN ITS ENTIRETY AND ADOPTING CHAPTER 66, ARTICLE II-A AND ARTICLE II-B IN ITS PLACE TO CREATE SEPARATE REGULATORY FRAMEWORKS FOR NON-METER/NON-PAID PARKING RULES AND VIOLATIONS AND PAID PARKING RULES AND VIOLATIONS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, CODIFICATION, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
The City of Dunnellon Council will hold a Public Hearing regarding Ordinance #ORD2026-02, amending Chapter 66 of the Dunnellon Code of Ordinances relating to parking regulations. The public hearing will be held at Dunnellon City Hall, 20750 River Drive, Dunnellon, FL 34431, on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as can be heard. Interested parties may appear at the meeting and may be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance. Comment may be made orally or submitted in writing. If necessary, this public hearing may be continued to a time and date certain by announcement at the scheduled hearing without any further written notice.
The proposed ordinance and back-up materials may be reviewed during normal business hours between 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday-Thursday at Dunnellon City Hall. For further information please contact the Community Development Department at (352) 465-8500, ext. 1010.
APPEAL: NECESSITY OF RECORD. Notice is given that if any person desires to appeal any action taken by the City Council at the above hearing, a verbatim record of the proceedings may be necessary pursuant to s. 286.0105, Florida Statutes. The City assumes no responsibility for furnishing said record, however, the hearings will be audio recorded by the City for public use.
