NOTICE IS HEREBY given that electronic proposals only will be received by the TOWN OF FORT MYERS BEACH electronically through www.demandstar.com until 2:00 pm LOCAL TIME on Thursday, April 16, 2026. Proposals will be opened at 2:15 pm LOCAL TIME on Thursday, April 16, 2026, in Town Hall Council Chambers, 6231 Estero Blvd., Fort Myers Beach, FL 33931. Disaster Debris Removal and Disposal Services, RFP-26-11-ES Any proposals received by the Town after the above date and time shall remain unopened. The Town of Fort Myers Beach seeks to contract a qualified Vendor(s) to provide a variety of disaster recovery related services for Fort Myers Beach, Florida. Services will be provided on an as-needed basis. No minimum amount of work is guaranteed. Not all tasks will be assigned for all events. Services shall include but are not limited to: Large- and small-scale debris removal projects, separation, staging, disposal, demolition work, vegetative and construction and demolition debris removal, hazardous waste handling, hazardous tree trimming and removal, stump grinding and removal, sand removal from roads, streets, and rights-of-way, and all additional scopes of work as described herein. The Town anticipates the award of one primary contract and one secondary standby contract as a result of this Request for Proposals, including the designation of a Primary Debris Removal Operations Contractor and a Secondary standby Debris Removal Operations Contractor. The Primary Contractor will be utilized at the Town's discretion, with the Secondary standby Contractor available for activation as needed based on event magnitude, operational capacity, timeline requirements, or at the direction of the Town. No minimum amount of work is guaranteed to either Contractors. All work under this RFP shall be performed in accordance with FEMA rules and guidelines for federal reimbursements and with 2 CFR 200.317-326 as updated and where applicable The Town of Fort Myers Beach reserves the right, in its sole judgment in the best interest of the Town of Fort Myers Beach, to waive any informalities in any proposals; to make award(s) including multiple awards; to waive any non-substantive, in Town's sole judgment, irregularity or technicality in proposals received, and/or to reject any or all proposals.
