NOTICE IS HEREBY given that electronic bids only will be received by the TOWN OF FORT MYERS BEACH electronically through www.demandstar.com until 2:00 pm LOCAL TIME on Thursday, April 20, 2026. Bids will be opened at 2:15 pm LOCAL TIME on Thursday, April 20, 2026, in Town Hall Council Chambers, 6231 Estero Blvd., Fort Myers Beach, FL 33931.

Any bids received by the Town after the above date and time shall remain unopened.

BACKGROUND
1.1. The Town of Fort Myers Beach seeks to contract a qualified Bidder to provide delivery and installation of trees on Estero Island, Fort Myers Beach, Florida. Work shall be performed on an as-needed basis pursuant to Notices to Proceed issued by the Town. Services shall include but are not limited to: transportation and delivery of approved tree species to designated planting locations, installation of trees in accordance with applicable industry standards and project specifications, and all additional scopes of work as described herein. All work shall be completed no later than July 31, 2026, in accordance with FDACS Agreement #32104, including Amendment 1.

1.2. The Town anticipates the award of one (1) contract as a result of this Invitation to Bid. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder whose bid is determined to be in the best interest of the Town of Fort Myers Beach.

1.3. All work under this ITB shall be performed in accordance with the requirements of Federal Financial Assistance Funding Opportunity Number 23-DG-11083112-430 and applicable provisions of 2 CFR Part 200  Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards.

The Town of Fort Myers Beach reserves the right, in its sole judgment in the best interest of the Town of Fort Myers Beach, to waive any informalities in any bids; to waive any non-substantive, in Town's sole judgment, irregularity or technicality in bids received; and/or to reject any or all bids.

OBTAINING BID DOCUMENTS
Ordering Instructions: The official Bid Documents shall be obtained from www.demandstar.com.

BIDDER must furnish the TOWN with a mailing address, e-mail address, and phone number for contact purposes. It shall be the BIDDER'S sole responsibility to keep all such information current with the TOWN until the execution of a contract by the TOWN for this project. If the official documents are not obtained directly from Demandstar.com, or are modified in any manner, the bid will not be accepted for consideration by the TOWN.

Complete sets of Bid Documents must be used in preparing the Bid. The TOWN will not assume any responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Bid Documents.
